On Tuesday, SiriusXM unveiled its plans for Taylor Swift to headline her own limited-engagement SiriusXM channel, dubbed "Channel 13 (Taylor’s Version)," set to launch on Sunday, April 7, 13 days prior to the debut of her highly anticipated album "The Tortured Poets Department."

Taylor's Radio Channel Will Only Be Available Through Paid Subscription
This dedicated channel will broadcast around the clock across North America, serving as a comprehensive destination for Swift's extensive 17-year musical journey. Encompassing her favorite hits, including all "(Taylor’s Versions)," "From the Vault" tracks, live recordings, bonus materials, and more, the channel promises to offer fans an immersive Swift experience.
Additionally, the channel's 13th day, Friday, April 19, coincides with the album's release, with the channel slated to air the full album over the weekend. SiriusXM subscribers will have access to the channel on their car radios via channel 13 and through the SiriusXM app from Sunday, April 7, to Monday, May 6.
“The versatility of Taylor’s music and the phenomenal impact she’s had in her career across so many musical genres will be on full display on Channel 13 (Taylor’s Version),” Scott Greenstein, SiriusXM’s President and Chief Content Officer, told the media, expressing the company’s experiment to collaborate with Taylor.
“We’re all experiencing a legend at work and are so thrilled to work with Taylor to present a one-of-a-kind channel that connects her fans with her extraordinary body of work,” he continued.
Taylor’s Upcoming Album Has Already Been Criticized For Being Expensive
While Taylor’s announcement is a huge milestone to her career, which his riding the coattails of her uber successful Eras tour, it may not be resonating well with some fans. The pop star already got criticism for deciding to release multiple vinyl versions of her upcoming album with different exclusive songs. Fans would need to pay a small fortune to get access to all the versions simply to hear the surprise songs.
Swift will release four different editions of the album, each accompanied by a special bonus track. These bonus tracks are titled "The Manuscript," "The Bolter," "The Albatross," and "The Black Dog," with each edition featuring a unique color scheme and cover design.

The vinyl version of each edition is priced at $34.99, with standard delivery bringing the total to $47.99. For dedicated fans wishing to acquire all four editions, the total at checkout will be just under $200, representing a substantial investment to access all bonus tracks.
